BRICKLAYING BOOST FOR GIPPSLAND GippsTAFE has announced that it is looking to expand the range of building courses on offer in 2008, in response to growing skills shortages in areas such as bricklaying. The announcement is expected to be well received by local employers, with Housing Industry Associations reporting that up to 20,000 apprentices will be needed in the Victorian house-building industry over the next five years. |
