Dairy Training Move to Benefit Community

Dairy

An improved range of dairy industry training programs will be delivered locally, thanks to a joint initiative by the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia (NCDEA) and GippsTAFE in Leongatha.

The collaboration is designed to expand the Vocational Education and Training services that are available for the dairy industry within the South Gippsland region, by making NCDEA courses available from the Leongatha Campus of GippsTAFE.

According to Tony Seymour, Gippsland Manager of NCDEA, the focus of the partnership is to provide increased capacity to deliver specialised training to the community.

“Our partnership with GippsTAFE will allow us to bring a great range of superior training options to local industry,” he said.

“NCDEA Students will use the GippsTAFE buildings and other locations throughout South Gippsland, particularly for short courses.”

“We are excited by the new partnership with GippsTAFE, and look forward to working with them to provide a comprehensive range of quality dairy programs to the community,” he said.
