Vision Statement

The Gippsland Education Precinct will provide an integrated, post-compulsory environment that enables all learners to develop to their full potential.

The Gippsland Education Precinct is a unique, collaborative partnership between Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE, Monash University (Gippsland Campus), Gippsland Group Training, Kurnai College (years 11 and 12) and Latrobe City. The aim of this partnership is to improve educational opportunities for learners in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland and beyond, through integrated learning pathways, a focus on the needs of individual learners and enhanced learning and teaching through information and communications technology (ICT). The Gippsland Education Precinct will also contribute to local business and social benefits of lifelong learning.

Courses will be delivered at the new, purpose-built Gippsland Education Precinct facilities in the heart of the Monash University, Gippsland Campus in Churchill, as well as at other campuses of Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE and Gippsland Group Training. Teaching and learning at the Gippsland Education Precinct is supported by an innovative ICT hub, linking the partner organisations and other education providers in the Latrobe Valley.
