At GippsTAFE, small, intimate classes are designed to nurture the artist within and bring your vision to life.
In each program, you will develop a portfolio of work that demonstrates your unique talents. At the end of the academic year, you will have the opportunity to submit your work to a professional exhibit at the Latrobe Regional Gallery.

News Highlight: Salon Success for GippsTAFE Students
In an unprecedented event, the work of three art students has been selected to appear in the prestigious Salon des Refusés exhibition.
The GippsTAFE students have real cause for celebration, as the exhibition - sister to the infamous Archibald - continues to attract some of the fiercest competition in the Australian art sector.
The three students who have achieved this success are Carolyn Henry, Janette Arnold-Collins and Ursula Theinert (pictured with subject Kerrie Warren), who are completing the Diploma of Arts (Visual Arts).
According to teacher and fellow Salon des Refuses exhibitor, Peter Biram, the results the students have achieved are particularly encouraging, because it demonstrates the continued importance of showcasing up and coming art in Australia.
