Course Overview

This course aims to give participants an introduction to Aged and Disability Care within the Community Services industry. Participants will undertake both theory and practical work and should be clear that the first year of the program contains more theory based work than practical work.

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate II in Community Services (Aged and Disability Care) (VET in Schools).

To undertake a VETiS Program with GippsTAFE participants must be enrolled with a secondary education provider or school

Pre-Requisites

Students are required to have the minimum of Year 10

Assessment

This program offers VCE Scored Assessment or Block Credits for VCE students and Credits for VCAL Students
