Please be aware that completion of this VETiS course doesn't give full completion of a pre-apprenticeship. VET in School qualifications are undertaken over a two (2) year period with students attending one (1) day per week

Course Overview

This qualification is designed to provide training for students who plan to gain employment as an apprentice painter and decorator in the building and construction industry. In this course, students can develop skills in painting, wall papering, wood graining, marbling, spray painting and stencilling.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National Certificate of Competency.

Assessment

This is VCE VET accredited course

This course does not contain a VCE Scored Assessment

VCE Students will be eligible for a 10% increment in their ENTER Score

Course participants will be eligible to apply for TWO Block Credits for Units 1 & 2 in their first year
