Course Overview

Forklift operators drive forklifts to shift and stack bales, cartons, containers, crates and pallets of goods in areas such as timber yards and warehouses.  They also move shipping containers on the waterfront and are employed in a wide range of industries and businesses.

This course provides basic training in the safe operation of forklifts. It covers regulations, safety requirements, operation of a variety of forklifts, movement of loads to and from a pallet, stacking, racking and containers.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
