Do you dream of making your mark in the music world? Learn the art of music performance at the GippsTAFE Music Academy. At GippsTAFE, students go from classroom to centre stage to develop valuable practical skills through hands-on experience.

You will have the opportunity to perform live gigs at local venues, learn how to play in harmony with other musicians, develop and improve your music technique, understand the theoretical basis of music and build skills in composition, arrangement and recording using new technology.

The Music Academy operates from a purpose built training facility at the Morwell Campus. This facility is fully equipped, and includes a recording studio, keyboard laboratory and internet access.

The music courses incorporate real gigs performed throughout the Gippsland region.

Entry to all courses is by interview and/or audition and it is recommended that students meet with staff from the Music Academy.
