Completing your apprenticeship at GippsTAFE means you'll train under expert staff to develop current industry skills that are readily applicable to your workplace. An engineering apprenticeship could be your pathway to a career in the expanding manufacturing and engineering sector.

This course will teach you how to work with metal. As well as the core units you may also select subjects of your choice so you can tailor the course to your own interests or career goals.

Entry Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years old and currently apprenticed to an employer.

If you are not currently apprenticed, you may be eligible to enrol in the Diploma of Engineering Technology.

Assessment is competency based and includes observation, written assignments, tests and practical application in simulated workplace conditions.
