Course Overview
GippsTAFE offers accredited and recognised training across two levels of Rigging: Basic and Intermediate. A Rigging licence is mandatory in Victoria when carrying out rigging duties on any worksite in Victoria.
The Basic course is the first step towards a career as a rigger. Basic Rigging combines the skills of a dogger with additional training which enables the safe erection of steel work and the use of lifting gear to shift large items of plant.
Qualifications And Recognition
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to be assessed for a National Certificate of Competency.Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
