Course Overview

Want to get a head start on a career in the building industry? GippsTAFE provides you with the skills you need to hit the ground running and increase your chances of gaining a bricklaying apprenticeship.

This course will give you basic skills in the areas of levelling, building structures, hand and power tools, scaffolding, masonry blockwork and construction principles.

GippsTAFE is recognised by the Institute for Trade Skills Excellence as one of Australia’s leading building and construction training providers.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Certificate II in Building and Construction (Bricklaying) (Pre-apprenticeship).
