Course Overview

GippsTAFE has submitted applications to ASQA with the intention of delivering these courses/qualifications in 2014

The Diploma of Work Health and Safety is an ideal qualification for OHS professionals who coordinate and maintain OHS programs within the workplace.

Skills include managing, designing, developing, applying and maintaining OHS data, systems, participative arrangements as well as risks, hazards and environments within the workplace.

This course has online support with campus based induction. 

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon successful completion of this course students will be eligible to receive the Diploma of Work Health and Safety.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However it is recommended that candidates complete the Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety prior to commencing this qualification.

Preferred pathways for candidates considering this qualification include: BSB41412 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or other relevant qualification/s OR with vocational experience in providing guidance to others in matters relating to occupational health and safety but without formal OHS qualifications.

Please note students will be required to attend a face to face induction at a GippsTAFE campus.
