Course Overview

Want a qualification that could help you secure work as a manager in the exciting hospitality and tourism industries? This nationally accredited course will not only develop your knowledge and skills in a range of food and beverage roles but will give you a dual qualification in hospitality and tourism!

Learning takes place both in the classroom and in our training restaurants so you get to perfect your skills in an authentic workplace environment. You'll enhance your employability and be ready to meet work challenges with confidence.

You'll gain practical skills in hospitality operations, supervision, finances and leadership. Plus, you get to choose some subjects of your choice (called electives) so you can tailor the course to your own needs and interests.

GippsTAFE Excellerate is designed to give those working in industry the opportunity to enhance their skills for application in their existing roles or enable the participant to move into a new role with more responsibility. By recognising your existing skills and knowledge, the programs in this series allow you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in an accelerated timeframe.
