Course Overview

This course covers the work required to prepare turf surfaces for match play by greenkeepers and sports turf curators.

Course structure

In this course you will learn about:

  • Preparation of site to be mown
  • Prepare equipment for mowing
  • Mowing the playing surface to the desired quality
  • Final preparation of the playing surface.

This course is designed for people who are responsible for the maintenance and care of sports grounds and surfaces for a number of different sporting activities such as football, cricket, golf or bowls.
