Course Overview

This skill set will address care delivered in both the residential and community care environments.

Successful completion of this skill set will enable carers to assist with design, implementation and the evaluation of health and leisure activities / programs.

Qualifications And Recognition

Upon completion of this course, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.

Entry Requirements

Applicants for this course MUST have completed qualifications in aged care, disability or a related field, and must be currently working in residential/community care sector.

Applicants wishing to complete the remainder of the course ( Certificate IV in Leisure and Health) may be invited to apply for RPL and to undertake flexible workplace training and assessment, as well as additional classroom based learning.
