What is Skills for Growth?

The Skills for Growth program is a free service for small to medium Victorian businesses. It is designed to provide organisations with access to a Specialist who will assess the training needs of the business and offer expert advice about training opportunities that would add value to the organisation. The Skills for Growth program is a Victorian Government initiative.

Who is eligible for the Skills for Growth program?

The Skills for Growth program is available to organisations that fulfill the following four criteria. Each business applying must be:

• Based in Victoria
• Employer of between 1 and 200 staff
• In operation for more than 12 months
• Financially viable

What is involved?

The program has five key elements:
 
1.    Business Diagnostic and Action Plan
2.    Skills Needs Assessment
3.    Development of Training Plan
4.    Training Purchase
5.    Follow-Up Review
