Executive Leadership Team
The Institute Executive is the prime leadership group responsible and accountable for establishing the leadership goals, direction and performance of GippsTAFE. The primary goal of the leadership group is the development and implementation of strategies that will increase the entrepreneurial and business acumen of the Institute.
The Executive Leadership Team comprises of the CEO, Executive Directors Academic Programs, and Executive Director Finance & Infrastructure.

Dr Peter WhitleyChief Executive Officer The primary role of the Chief Executive Officer is to establish the direction of the Institute in line with the expectations and aspirations of the Institute Board. The CEO is responsible for ensuring that there is sound and effective leadership throughout the Institute. |

Mr Jim VivianExecutive Director Academic Programs The primary role of the General Manager Corporate Services is to ensure that the services, facilities and non-academic resources are effectively managed and led to achieve the Institute's objectives and directions. The General Manager is accountable for leading the delivery of quality staff services for Institute wide planning. |

Mr Ian CarrollExecutive Director Finance and Infrastructure The primary role of the Chief Finance & Accounting Officer is to ensure that the Institute maintains a rigorous approach to financial accountability and its financial position is maintained and enhanced. |

Mrs Carol ElliotExecutive Director Academic Programs The role of General Manager Teaching and Learning is responsible for the management of educational and commercial activities across the Institute. Integral to the role is the emphasis on quality delivery of the Institute's programs which meet our clients needs and expectations. In addition, it included liaising and negotiating with Government funding bodies, especially with Skills Victoria, as well as identifying and building relationships across all stakeholders, particularly with commercial clients and within business networks. |
